Singapore, Malaysia jump to solo first
Host country Singapore defeated the Philippines, 2-1, to propel themselves to first place of Group A.

The two teams are in opposite ends of the table with Malaysia at first with six points and Laos in last place.
Myanmar, Indonesia taste first win
Myanmar proved that they deserved their Pot 2 seeding after beating Timor-Leste, 2-0.
Than Paing found the back of the net at the 14th minute, while Maun Maung Lwin had his at the 50th minute.
The Timorese are still in search of their first points after incurring their second defeat.
Finally, Indonesia had an entertaining debut, enduring Cambodia in a 4-2 goal spree.
Rachmat Irianto led the way for the Garuda with a brace. Evan Dimas and Ramai Rumakiek were the other goalscorers.
Yue Safy and Prak Mony Udom tallied a goal each for Cambodia.
The Angkor Warriors are tied at the bottom with Laos.
