Olivier Giroud joined AC Milan
AC Milan have completed the signing of Olivier Giroud from Chelsea for a fee around 2 million euros, with the French striker penning a deal to 2024.
Olivier Giroud will wear the No.9 shirt as he joins up with Stefano Pioli‘s side ahead of their return to Champions League football in the 2021/22 season.
The 34-year-old Giroud enjoyed a great career at Chelsea following his arrival from Arsenal in January 2018, as he scored 39 times in 119 matches and lifted the FA Cup, the Europa League and also the Champions League.
The French talisman will be a reinforcement to the Milan-based club. Their main striker last season, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been recovering from his injury, which requires operation.
He also enjoyed an excellent international career, scoring 46 goals in 110 appearances for France, while he was also part of the squad that won the World Cup in 2018.
