Rudi Garcia’s side could hardly do anything as they were far inferior to their opponents, with the former Man United star having very few chances in front of goal.
The 37-year-old played the full 90 minutes and saw opponent’s Romarinho, Abderrazak and Muhannad Al-Shanqeeti put the ball back in the net while Anderson Talisca was no more than a consolation one for Al-Nassr.
Al-Ittihad beat Al-Nassr to register in the Super Cup final and will be facing Al-Feihad. Ronaldo’s new club won the competition back-to-back in 2019 and 2020 without him but now had to wait for next year to seek for silverware again.
