Champions League draw results – What to take?

The Milan derby must wait, probably until the Semi-final, as Inter Milan are set to face another Portuguese opponent after beating Porto in the Round of 16.

Meanwhile, Rossoneri are taking Serie A leader Napoli in the last eight, and, for sure, the semi-final will absolutely joined by a Italian giant. The last time there was a Italia club in UCL semi-final was in the season of 2016/17, Juventus, who eventually went to the final but beaten by Real Madrid.

It’s good to know that on the way to UCL’s victory last season, Los Blancos went on almost the identical path, eliminating three English Premier League sides, from Chelsea, to Man City and then Liverpool in the final.

Pep Guardiola will have a reunion with his former club Bayern Munich, but his sweetest memories against the Bavarian side dated back to the early 2000s.

This will be Spanish boss first meeting with Bayern Munich since leaving the club. His only managerial games against them came in the 2008-09 Champions League quarter-finals, knocking them out with Barcelona en route to lifting the trophy.
