What did Conte say about the players
Antonio Conte believes some players are happy to stay in the comfort zone and settle for mediocrity, no matter who is the coach.
The former Chelsea and Inter Milan boss also believes if the culture at a club is not right then the club is never going to be successful.
Spurs was eliminated from the UCL Round of 16, before the shocking draw 3-3 at Southampton last weekend.
“We are professional. Tottenham pay us lot of money, me and the players. We don’t receive money to find excuses, don’t have the spirit or not showing sense of responsibility”. Conte said in the press conference.
“This is unacceptable. It’s the first time in my career to see players like this”.
