Two goals and two red cards, those are the highlights from Everton and Tottenham Hotspur clash of the Premier League 2022/23.
Two sides drew 1-1 at Goodison Park on the latest game on Monday night, but Moura and Abdoulaye Doucoure took the spotlights, and for not very good reasons….
First red card
Home side Doucoure struck Harry Kane in the face before the hour mark. The Everton midfielder is shown a straight red card for violent conduct towards Kane.
The Tottenham Hotspur star then put the away side in front from the penalty spot, 10 minutes later. The advantage of numbers was well taken, but it did not stood for the rest of the game.
The second red card
The sides were level in terms of players after Moura was sent off with two minutes to go for a horrible tackle on Michael Keane.
The similar story happened, with Keane scored the equaliser with a stunning strike, in the last minute of the match.
Moura has been having a tough time this season, with the stats clearly shown:
And Lucas’ brief cameo appearance was mocked by football fans on social media.
One said: “Superb cameo from Lucas Moura.”
Another added: “Lucas Moura why’d you even come on”
And third replied: “Well that’s why Conte didn’t play Lucas Moura.”
