Fluminense announced Haaland

In a move that sent shockwaves through the football world, Fluminense, Thiago Silva’s new club, audaciously declared Premier League champion Halaand as their latest signing.

For a fleeting moment, Man City’s top-scorer image for this season graced the club’s website before swiftly vanishing.

The hacker’s prank amused Fluminense’s fans. Some of them took it to Reddit and other channels to express their feelings:

“As a Fluminense fan, I think the worst part is that when I saw the news, for 5 seconds, I lived in a universe where this was true. And that universe was beautiful.” – A fan wrote on Reddit.

“I know it’s fake because he isn’t 40,” another fan wrote, pointing out that his side only signed veterans.

“Well, they hacked the Flu website.”

The Norwegian striker scored 51 goals and registered eight assists in 45 games this season in all competitions. Haaland also won the Premier League with Man City – his second consecutive English league title.
