LEE JOINS VIRAL TIKTOK TREND, SHARES FALL VIDEO IN BALANCE BEAM FINAL IN PARIS

the beam in the gymnastics women’s balance beam final in Paris on Monday.
The 21-year-old American artistic gymnast was denied from adding a medal with her unfortunate slip.
Lee poked fun at herself and shared the video as part of a viral TikTok trend that started a week ago.
Moreover, the Saint Paul, Minnesota, native added a spin to her version of the “Why I didn’t make it to the Olympics” in the videos.
“Unfortunately, I was selected for the Olympics,” Lee said in the clip.
She also used the “Star Bangled (Bass Boosted) was used as background music.
“Unfortunately, I was not selected for the Olympics,” was the regular caption used in the viral videos.
OLYMPIC FALL JUST A SLIP FROM SUNI’S PRODUCTIVE STINT IN PARIS
Moreover, Lee’s fall was just a slip from her productive stint in Paris.
She began her campaign when she was part of the US gold medal-winning squad in the women’s team final.
Lee would later claim two bronzes in the all-around and uneven bars finals.
The 5-foot dynamo’s video came after actress Jennifer Garner shared her version of the trend.
In the viral videos, people attempt athletic activities and poke fun at themselves by declaring their failures to qualify for the Olympics.
Furthermore, the actress picked a stacked 33-inch high box jump that she attempted to get past to no avail.
Garner instead landed on her knees instead of her feet.
More than 250,000 people have already taken part in the viral Olympic trend as of Monday.
MEDALS ‘GOES DEEPER THAN GYMNASTICS,’ SAYS LEE AFTER PARIS STINT
Furthermore, the medals “goes deeper than gymnastics,” says Lee after she capped her Paris stint.
“This medal goes deeper than gymnastics. I can’t even begin to express how much my health has taken away from me & the strength it has taught me,” she said.
“So to be here is the greatest achievement of all,” she added.
Lee now has six Olympic medals overall, counting the three she won at Tokyo three years ago.
The former Auburn Tigers alumni has been active on social media throughout her campaign in Paris.
She posted a video of her with teammates Simone Biles, Jordan Chiles, and Hezly Rivera moments after they won the team final.
In the video, the four held their gold medals and lip-synced audio of Kanye West’s 2005 Grammys acceptance speech.
Moreover, Lee is thankful for her Olympic experience after she was diagnosed with an incurable kidney disease in March 2023.
“Grateful for the opportunity to be able to represent Team USA at my second Olympic Games! Thank you for all the support,” she said.
