Maguire posted an update on his situation via Instagram.

“Frustrated to pick up an injury at the weekend, will be a few weeks on the sideline for me but I’ll come back stronger,” he wrote.

Maguire scored a late goal to secure a 3-3 draw for United against FC Porto in the Europa League.

Struggles continues for Manchester United

Maguire has featured nine times for the Reds so far this season, starting six games and making three appearances off the bench.

The struggle continues for United, who are currently 14th place in the Premier League.

The centre-back became the latest player to join United’s growing injury list.
