Alisson will miss a string of essential games for Liverpool
According to the latest update, the Kop just received a big blow for the Alisson case. They will not have the keeper’s service due to a hamstring injury.
The Brazilian is set to miss around six weeks after new test results confirmed a hamstring injury, as expected. Alisson will not return until after the next international break in mid-November.
Liverpool is sitting atop the league table but will be challenged by Chelsea (home) before the crucial visit to last season’s runner-up, Arsenal, at Emirates. The Merseyside outlet also takes on RB Leipzig and Leverkusen at the European Cup without Alisson.
Kelleher will replace Alisson
The Kop fans should be fine since they have a righteous replacement in the post while Alisson is missing.
Second-choice goalkeeper Caoimhín Kelleher has not conceded a goal in either of his two finals for Liverpool, facing a total of 13 shots on target in both matches. He will step up in Alisson‘s absence.
