SIXERS SAY EMBIID ‘RESPONDING WELL’ ON RAMP UP ACTIVITIES
Moreover, the Sixers say Embiid has been “responding well” on his ramp up activities to get ready for the new season.
Furthermore, Philadelphia’s latest approach to Embiid was to ensure the big man’s longevity throughout the regular season and the playoffs.
Embiid played only 39 games last season due to knee injuries.
He played in the Sizers’ playoff series against the New York Knicks but he was not 100%.
“We’re going to be smart about it. Part of being smart about is having both Paul (George) and Joel (Embiid) probably not play many back-to-backs, if any,” Sixers president of basketball operations Daryl Morey said.
