CURRY TWISTS ANKLE AS WARRIORS LOSE TO HARDEN, CLIPPERS AT HOME

Moreover, Curry tried to get back into the game 8:08 into the game before he left for the locker room some 13 seconds later.
Warriors’ coach Steve Kerr confirmed Curry would undergo an MRI exam on Sunday night.
“He (Curry) said it was, I think he used the word mild or moderate,” Kerr said.
“He’s obviously sprained the many, many times before, so he doesn’t think it’s too bad, but obviously, it’s a concern,” he added.
FANS HAVE MIXED REACTIONS TO LATEST CURRY INJURY
Moreover, fans have mixed reactions to the latest Curry injury, with most of them concerned.
“Dmn bro it’s too early for this to be happening dawg,” a fan said on X (formerly Twitter) moments after the game.
“For everyone losing sleep over it, the last time Steph Curry’s ankle threw a tantrum was March 7th 2024,” another fan added.
Furthermore, Curry finished with 18 points, four rebounds, six assists, two steals, and one block in just 27 minutes.
Kerr and the Warriors hope the injury isn’t serious and Curry won’t miss several games moving forward.
DUBS BRACE FOR POSSIBLE CURRY ABSENCE IN STRETCHES; KERR LOOKS TO WIGGINS, HIELD
Furthermore, the Dubs are bracing for a possible Curry absence in certain stretches if the injury is serious.
Moreover, Warriors’ role players Gary Payton II and Buddy Hield remain positive Golden State can hold the fort.
“(I just) shake my hed. Hate to have it, especially with him. But we’ll be alright,” Payton said.
“We’ve just got to stick together. It’ll be a great challenge,” Hield added.
Meanwhile, Kerr can look to Andrew Wiggins or Hield to step up if Curry misses some games.
Wiggins had 29 points on 11-of-15 shooting, while Hield came off the bench to score eight points.
However, Hield has averaged 19 points in 20.8 minutes in the past three games as a reserve.
“Wiggs is off to a great start and had a great night. He’s an obvious candidate to get the ball more (if Curry’s out),” Kerr said.
