Furthermore, the Italian world No.1 extended his winning streak to nine match as he won his round-robin group.
Moreover, Sinner was already assured of a place into the last four but still played to stay undefeated before his home fans.

ATP CHAIR SAYS NO DOUBLE STANDARD APPLIED IN SINNER DOPING CASE
Meanwhile, an Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) official said there was no double standard applied in Sinner’s doping case.
Furthermore, ATP chairman Andra Gaudenzi said on Thursday described as “unfair” a double standard ever ensued on Sinner’s status.
“I really thank the ITIA (International Tennis Integrity Agency) and our representatives there for intentionally keeping me and our entire tam in the dark because that’s how it should be,” Gaudenzi said.
“It should be completely independent, and that was agreed by the (parties). It was a shock, but obviously comforted by the evidence afterward,” he added.
The Word Anti-Doping Agency appealed by the independent tribunal’s decision in clearing Sinner of any wrongdoing.
