KARNATAKA VETERAN TEAMMATE WANTS PADIKKAL TO ‘EMBRACE THE FIGHT’

Meanwhile, Padikkal’s Karnataka veteran teammate urged him to “embrace the fight” prior to him being unsold at the IPL auction.

Furthermore, Mayank Agarawal urged Padikkal of “embracing the challenge” of playing for the Indian cricket team after Gill was sidelined.

Moreover, the senior cricketer cited most Indian players has ample preparation.

“They (Indian players) have had at least three weeks to prepare themselves for the conditions. But it then boils down to the mindset – are you willing to get into the fight?” Agarawal asked.

“If he (Padikkal) can get into the mindset – which he has, he has got a lot of skill, a lot of flair (and he) works hard on his game,” he added.
