The Real Madrid forward received a red card for pushing goalkeeper Stole Dimitrievski during a stoppage in play.

The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) Disciplinary Committee classified Vinícius Jr.’s actions as “violent and outside the context of the game,” leading to a suspension and a €600 fine for the player.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid will pay a €700 fine.

After trailing 0-1, substitute Luka Modrić equalized for Madrid in the 85th minute, and Jude Bellingham secured a dramatic stoppage-time winner.

Available for Spanish Super Cup

Vinicius apologized for his actions immediately after the game, expressing regret for his angry reaction to the red card shown to him.

He was restrained from confronting referee Cesar Soto Grado by teammate Antonio Rüdiger and goalkeeping coach Luis Llopis.

The 24-year-old will be available for Madrid’s next match in the Super Cup semifinal against Mallorca in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Thursday.

However, he will be out for the club’s next two LaLiga games against Las Palmas and Real Valladolid.
