Neymar confirms Santos return: “It’s like I’m going back in time”

Neymar feels like “going back in time” in Santos
The 32-year-old is expected to sign a six-month deal with his boyhood club in Brazil.
Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal announced that they have reached an agreement with Neymar to terminate his contract.
In an video post on Instagram, the forward said that returning to the Sao Paolo-based side was “like going back in time.”
“I just can’t hold it in until tomorrow – I’ll sign the contract at Santos.”
“I’ve been wishing for this moment to come true for a long time.
“It’s been more than 12 years since I left but it seems like it was yesterday.
“My feelings for the club and fans have never changed.”
“Only a club like Santos can provide the love I need to prepare for the coming challenges of the next years.”
Ready to join Santos
Neymar emerged from Santos’ famed youth system, scoring 136 goals in 225 games before making a high-profile move to Barcelona in 2013.
During his four seasons in Spain, he made 186 appearances, winning two La Liga titles, the Champions League, and the Club World Cup before making a world-record £200m transfer to Paris Saint-Germain.
According to The Associated Press, Neymar will arrive at Sao Paulo’s international airport at 9 a.m. local time on Friday.
He will sign his contract at Vila Belmiro Stadium and be reintroduced to fans in the evening.
