WILLIAMS EYES COMEBACK IN FIRST TOURNAMENT AFTER A YEAR

Furthermore, the 44-year-old former world No.1 will try to get back on track since her last stint at the Miami Open in March 2024.

Furthermore, Serena made a comeback at the tournament in 2015 before Venus followed suit a year later.
Williams’ return will mark her 10th apperance in Indian Wells, where she last played last year.
The current world No.974 only competed in two tournaments last year and won threee matches in seven events in 2023.
KVITOVA, FONSECA, TIEN GET INDIAN WELLS’ WILDCARD SLOTS
Williams will not be the only prominent name among the wild cards.
Furthermore, two-time Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova was also given a wild card in the women’s singles in Indian Wells.
Moreover, Kvitova is also making a comeback after she went on maternity leave recently.
Youngsters Joao Fonseca and Learner Tien were also handed wild cards in the men’s singles.
