CELTICS VS THUNDER MATCHUP SHOWS OKC STEALING ROAD WIN, CLINCH PLAYOFF BERTH

The Celtic vs Thunder matchup showed OKC stealing a road win, 118-112, to officially clinch a playoff berth.

Furthermore, the Thunder (54-12) swept the Celtics (47-19) in their two head-to-head matchups this season.

Moreover, OKC got 34 points from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and 23 points and 15 rebounds from Chet Holmgren to keep them safely on top in the Western Conference.

Five other players scored in double figures for the Thunder in a balanced attack.

Reserves Isaiah Hartenstein nad Isaiah Joe had 11 points apiece, while Kenrich Williams added 10 points for OKC.

TATUM, WHITE LEAD THE WAY FOR CELTICS

Furthermore, Jrue Holiday only came up with nine points on 4-of-10 shooting and 1-of-7 from deep.

The Celtics managed to erase the Thunder’s 12-point lead to force an 88-all standoff on Tatum’s three-point play to end the third quarter.

However, OKC responded after a 98-all standoff by running off eight unanswered points to pull away from the match.

OKC DOMINATES REIGNING CHAMPS PENDING POSSIBLE FINALS MATCHUP

This match means OKC has dominated the defending NBA champions in the regular season pending a possible finals matchup in June.

Furthermore, the Thunder found better success against the second-running team in the East compared a split they had with league-leading Cleveland (55-10).

Moreover, OKC won despite Boston completing a record 63 three-point attempts, tying the third best in history.

Boston hoisted 36 three-point heaves in the first half, which was also the most in any half in league history.

The Celtics, who played without injured forward Kristaps Porzingis, went 20-for-63 from deep Wednesday.
