CELTICS VS NETS GAME SAW BOSTON WINNING AT HOME DESPITE TWO INJURED STARS OUT

Kristaps Porzingis had 25 points and 3 rebounds, while Derrick White scored 18 points for Boston.
Jrue Holiday scored 12 points and eight assists, while Payton Pritchard added 10 points for the Celtics.
ROOKIE SCHEIERMAN GETS MOST OF INCREASED PLAYING TIME, GETS STANDING OVATION
Scheierman took advantage of getting increased playing time after not getting any minutes at all if Tatum and Brown were around.
Moreover, the 24-year-old rookie reserve forward came off-the-bench and played 16 minutes and made the most of it.
Furthermore, Scheierman went 7-of-8 from the field and knocked down four three-pointers in the second half to get Boston going.
The first-time player out of Creighton had never scored more than 15 points before Tuesday’s game.
He was later given a standing ovation by the Boston crowd after he left the game with about four minutes left.
NETS COULDN’T TAKE ADVANTAGE DESPITE FOUR STARTERS IN DOUBLE FIGURES
Meanwhile, the Nets (23-46) couldn’t take advantage of beating an undermanned Celtics despite four of their starters scoring in double figures.
Furthermore, D’Angelo Russel finished with 18 points and Ziaire Williams had 15 for Brooklyn.
Moreover, Keon Johnson scored 13 points, while Cameron Johnson chipped in 11 in a losing cause.
