KNICKS VS PISTONS HAS DETROIT FIGHTBACK AS CUNNINGHAM LEADS DETROIT TO TIE SERIES
The Knicks vs Pistons’ Game 2 matchup saw a Detroit fightback that had Cunningham leading his team to a 100-94 victory.
Furthermore, the 23-year-old All-Star point guard also had 12 rebounds, three assists, and two steals and was 11-of-21 from the field in 42 minutes.
Moreover, Cunningham’s heroics enabled the Pistons to end a long losing playoff spell, as they finally won a postseason game since May 2008.
Detroit finally snapped a 15-game postseason losing streak – which was the longest playoff losing run in the league.
Cunningham scored 20 of his points in the first half alone to jumpstart Detroit’s aggressive fightback on the road.
CADE GETS HELP FROM SCHRODER, HARRIS, DUREN IN WIN
Cunningham didn’t have to do it alone, as he got plenty of help from his teammates to counter the Knicks.
Moreover, Dennis Schroder came off the bench to score 20 points on 6-of-10 shooting and 3-of-5 from the arc.
Furthermore, Tobias Harris had 15 points and 13 rebounds, while center Jalen Duren finished with 12 points and 13 boards for the Pistons.
Pistons coach JB Bickerstaff lauded his team for winning despite the absence of Isaiah Steward, wo was out with right knee inflammation.
“When he’s not on the floor for us, we all have to bring that. We have to find a way because we can’t just lean on him all the time or expect it to just be him,” the coach said.

KNICKS UNDONE WITH AWFUL 3-POINT SHOOTING
The Knicks were undone with an awful 3-point shooting performance to be denied of a 2-0 series lead.
Furthermore, New York struggled with a 6-of-27 shooting from deep while failing to contain Cunningham the whole game.
Moreover, Jalen Brunson finished with 37 points and seven assists in a losing cause.
However, Karl Anthony Towns groped for just 10 points and six rebounds and was scoreless in the second half.
Mikal Bridges scored 19 points, while OG Anunoby smf Josh Hart also had 10 points apiece for New York.
The series shifts to Detroit for Game 3 on Thursday.
