“Long time coming” for Kane
Bayern officially claimed the championship on Sunday after Bayer Leverkusen drew 2-2 with Freiburg.
The England captain broke a league record by scoring his 60th goal in his first 60 league games.
Kane is on track to become the first player in Bundesliga history to finish as top scorer in each of his first two seasons.

“What a night last night, what a celebration with the players, with the staff,” Kane said.
“I’m sure everyone’s feeling it a little bit this morning, but we’re here,”
“I feel amazing. It’s been a long time coming, obviously a lot of hard work, a lot of dedication, and it just feels sweet to win the title, the first one of my career.”
Second trophy on sight
Kane, 31, joined Bayern Munich from his boyhood club Tottenham Hotspur in 2023.
His move to six-time European champions was about one thing: finally winning trophies.
Kane played a major role in Bayern’s success this campaign, scoring 24 goals in 29 game.

Bayern appeared set to clinch the title against Leipzig on Friday.
However, they conceded a stoppage-time equaliser, settling for a 3-3 draw and postponing their celebrations.
They had to wait until Leverkusen’s draw to be officially crowned champions.
Meanwhile, Kane watched from the stands after receiving a one-game ban for picking up his fifth yellow card of the season.
He will return to action this Saturday when Bayern host Borussia M’gladbach and can celebrate the title in front of the home fans.
“I appreciate all the support, as always, it never goes unnoticed, and I can’t wait to enjoy these next couple of weeks,” Kane said.
“I can’t wait to be at the Allianz Arena on Saturday and celebrate in front of the fans.”
“And then, as always, we look forward to the next one, and we go again and try and get number two.”
