Palmer thinks Yamal is the “best in the world”
Yamal, 17, recently helped Barca move closer to the La Liga title with a win over Espanyol on Thursday.
The winger scored the equaliser in Barça’s eventual 4-2 victory, which all but secured their 28th league title.
In addition to his goal, Yamal also assisted Fermin Lopez, who fired home from inside the box five minutes into stoppage time.

“It’s mad innit. I think he’s the best player in the world, to be honest,” Palmer told Sky Sports.
“I feel like everything they do just goes through him, and just when you watch him, just … Mad.”
“I love watching Yamal”
Yamal also strengthened his case as a rising star during Barça’s Champions League campaign, which ended in a semifinal defeat to Inter last week.
The Spain international finished the tournament with five goals and five assists.
Palmer, 22, praised Yamal for his maturity despite his young age.
“You can tell the way he plays that he’s confident and he’s got no fear, and I love watching him,” Palmer said.
Asked how hard it is to play with poise at the age of 17, Palmer joked: “I don’t know … I’ve never tried it.”

Palmer and Chelsea remain in contention for next season’s Champions League.
They sit fifth in the table, level on points with sixth-placed Aston Villa but ahead on goal difference, with two matches to play.
