THUNDER VS TIMBERWOLVES SERIES SEES OKC CLAIM GAME 1 AFTER BIG HOME VICTORY
The Thunder vs Timberwolves series started with OKC claim Game 1 after a big 114-88 home victory.
Furthermore, the Thunder did it with a balanced offensive of four players – led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander -scoring in double figures.
Moreover, Gilgeous-Alexander got the home fans something to cheer about in OKC by scoring a game-high 31 points to lead the Thunder to a 1-0 lead in their best-of-seven series.

OKC WEARS DOWN EDWARDS, MINNESOTA IN SECOND HALF
OKC simply wore down Anthony Edwards and Minnesota with a critical run in the second half to pull away in Game 1.
Furthermore, the Thunder went on a 10-0 run in the third quarter to take s 14-point lead they never relinquished.
Moreover, OKC did despite Gilgeous-Alexander struggling in the first half, with the player also known as SGA shooting just 2-of-13 in the first two quarters.
Williams also delivered.
He shrugged off a USD25,000 slapped by the NBA against him after their Game 7 win over the Nuggets,
It would be recalled that Williams wore a profanity laced shirt.
This as he faced reporters following OKC’s Game 7 victory.

RANDLE LEADS WAY AS ‘ANT-MAN’ STRUGGLES FOR WOLVES AGAINST OKC DEFENSE
Julius Randle led the way for Minnesota with 28 points and eight rebounds, as Edwards struggled.
Furthermore, the All-Star guard, also known as “Ant-Man,” had only 18 points on 5-of-13 shooting for the Wolves.
Moreover, Edwards got chippy with Gilgeous-Alexander.
This came after the former tossed the ball at the latter for drawing a foul on Wolves forward Jaden McDaniels.

No other player after Randle and Edwards was in double figures for the Wolves.
