ALCARAZ TOPS KHACHANOV TO EARN DRAPER REMATCH IN ITALY
Alcaraz tops Khachanov, 6-3, 3-6, 7-5, as he continues his recovery form a right leg injury that sidelined him in Madrid.

“Physically I was struggling a little bit, Not any pain in any part of the body,” Alcaraz said.
“I was just tired, had to run a lot. I was really proud the way I fought (for) every ball,” he added.
SINNER ADVANCES; DRAPER AWAITS ALCARAZ
Sinner also advanced, while Jack Draper awaits Alcaraz into the next round.
Moreover, Sinner outed Francisco Cerundolo, 7-6,(2), 6-3, to continue his comeback tour from a three-month ban due to a doping issue.
Furthermore, Draper earned another matchup against Alcaraz after he poted a 1-6, 6-4, 6-3 victory over Corentin Moutet.
“It was a very long day. … But I need this. I’m happy to be back,” Sinner said after beating Cerundolo.
“I was three months out, so every situation for me, I feel very fortunate to be here, very lucky,” he added.

PAOLINI RALLIES TO BEAT SHNAIDER
Paolini came back to beat Diana Shnaider, 6-7(1), 6-4, 6-2, to join fellow Italian into the next round.
Furthermore, the 29-year-old world No.5 became the first Italian woman to advance to the semifinals in Rome.
Moreover, Sara Errani, Paolini’s doubles partner, was the last woman to do the trick after she lost the 2014 final to Serena Williams.
Paolini will next face Peyton Stearns, a 6-2, 4-6, 7-6 (4) winner over Elina Svitolina later Tuesday.
“It was a good thing that it rained for five minutes. I got some coaching from Sara,” Paolini said of Errani, who was watching from the stands.
