Barcelona and Real Madrid meet in Copa del Rey semifinal as the Spanish cup competition set for El Clasico, while Osasuna and Athletic Club will play the other final four tie.

More El Clasico fixtures this season

The latest Copa del Rey semifinal put two clubs head-to-head for another time.

Real Madrid will host the 1st leg at the Bernabeu, and the return game will be at Camp Nou. The other tie between Osasuna and Bilbao is set at the former’s home first.

There’s a bit of complication with the fixtures as Los Blancos participating in the Club World Cup, which forced RFEF to change the dates of the final four of Copa del Rey.

According to Sport, The first legs will be played on the 28th February or the 1st or 2nd of March and the second legs on the 4th, 5th or 6th of April. 

It’s notable to know that there will be another El Clasico, when Barcelona hosting Real Madrid as the pair clashes again in La Liga 2022-23.

Barcelona vs Real Madrid – H2H this season

Blaugrana is having a tie with rival Los Blancos this season’s El Clasicos with 1W 1L so far.

Real beat Barca at home in the October La Liga’s fixture by 3-1, but Barca got their revenge in the Supercopa de Espana only in January 2023.

Barca is leading at the La Liga 2022-23 table by 5 points ahead of Real, and Copa del Rey could be the chance for a local league for both this season.

Last time two clubs facing each other in Copa del Rey went back to 2018-19 season, when Barca beat Real 4-1 in the two legs (1-1, 3-0) and eventually won the competiton.
