Bayern Munich 2-0 PSG (3-0 agg) – Highlights
PSG headed to Germany without Neymar, who would be out for the rest of the season after his ankle surgery.
Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe could not create anything significant, while Bayern were indebted to Matthijs de Ligt whose remarkable goal-line clearance thwarted Vitinha in the first half at Allianz Arena, and two goals scored by Choupo-Moting and Gnabry.
The visitors were aiming to overturn a one-goal first-leg deficit with creating more chances in the first half on Bayern soil.
Among the chances were Vitinha’s effort cleared off the line by De Light, meanwhile, former Premier League star Choupo-Moting headed past Gianluigi Donnarumma after the interval, but was gutted to be ruled out by Thomas Muller’s offside.
De Ligt’s last-ditch intervention, coupled with Choupo-Moting’s cool finish and a breakaway Gnabry goal, saw PSG fail to reach Champions League quarter-finals for a second consecutive season.

Messi got his 150 Champions League game as a starter, but the result was far from his expectation.
