BCB GETS NOD FROM BANGLADESH GOVT TO TOUR PAKISTAN FOR T20I SERIES
The BCB gets nod from the Bangladesh government to your Pakistan for T20I (Twenty20 International) series later this month.
Furthermore, the Bangladeshi government allowed the Bangladesh Cricket Board to play Pakistan in their five-match series starting on May 27.
Moreover, the duration of the Test series was earlier reported to be set from ay 25 until June 3.
“We have got the green signal (from the government) though we are yet to receive the official letter which we are expecting sooner than later,” a BCB official was quoted by Cricbuzz as saying.
“But as far as I know the government has taken the decision in principle that they will let us visit Pakistan for the upcoming tour,” the official added.
PSL FINAL’S POSTPONEMENT A FACTOR IN BCB’S REVISED ITINERARY
The postponement of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) final this month was a factor for the BCB to revise its itinerary.
Moreover, the PSL final has been adjusted to be set on May 25.
Furthermore, the BCB clarified that it won’t push any of its players to join.
“After getting the official letter from the government we will start talking with our players as we learnt that some of them are reluctant to travel citing security reasons,” a BCB official said.
“One thing we can assure is that we won’t push anyone,” he added.

PAKISTAN TOUR TO BE BASED ON BANGLADESH GOVT DIRECTIVES: OFFICIAL
The Pakistan Tour, a BCB official said, will have an itinerary based on the Bangladesh government’s directives.
Furthermore, BCB officials assured that the players’ safety and security will remain a top priority for the tour.
Moreover, BCB’s media committee chairman Iftekhar Rahman said the team’s itinerary for the Pakistan tour will be sent.
“In our previous meeting, we agreed that any such situation would be referred to the foreign and home ministries. Once we get clearance from all relevant bodies, we will finalise the tour,” Rahman said.
“Security concerns were more significant in the past, but Pakistan has proven it can ensure safety,” he added.
