DUBOIS VOWS TO END USYK’S 7-0 RUN AGAINST BRIT BOXERS, AVENGE PREVIOUS LOSS

Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs) vows to end Usyk’s 7-0 victorious run against Brit boxers by earning another shot against the unified Ukrainian world heavyweight champion.

Furthermore, the 6-foot-5 London native wants to sustain his three-match winning streak by challenging Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs) to collect all world heavyweight belts.

Moreover, Dubois was actually one of the seven Brit fighters Usyk defeated during his run.

The Ukrainian beat him by knockout in a controversial and intense bout on August 26, 2023, in Warsaw, Poland.

It was only Dubois’ second loss in his professional career.

‘DDD’ ‘READY’ IF GIVEN CHANCE FOR A USYK REMATCH THIS YEAR

“Moreover, Usyk is “ready” if given a chance to vie for a rematch against Usyk this year.

Furthermore, the fighter also known as “DDD” or “Dynamite” is aware that he must go through Usyk if he wants to collect all the heavyweight titles.

“It’s about time. Someone’s got to put a stop to it (Usyk win streak against Brits). when that time comes, I’ll be ready for it,” Dubois told BoxNation.

“I’ve been a contender for a long time. I’m a champion. I want to go through Usyk like a train,” he added.

Aside from Dubois, Usyk lists two wins over Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua, as well as one each against Derek Chisora and Tony Bellew as his British victims.

USYK ‘WON’T BE LUCKY’ IF REMATCH PUSHES THROUGH, ‘DYNAMITE’ SAYS

Furthermore, Usyk “won’t be lucky” again if a rematch pushes through, Dubois assures.

Moreover, the IBF heavyweight king is convinced he is the one who will end the Ukrainian’s “luck” against British fighters.

“He (Usyk) got lucky last time. Next time, he won’t be lucky,” Dubois warned, referring to their initial fight.

“I’m to much for him. I’m challenging him. I want to become undisputed and get all the belts,” he added.

But Dubois must first hurdle the challenge of Joseph Parker in their upcoming fight on February 22 in Riyadh.

Usyk’s promoter Alex Krassyuk last month said his ward welcomes the challenge of facing either Dubois or Parker.
