Life in Milan so far for Felix

Chelsea signed Felix on a permanent deal from Atletico Madrid at the end of the summer transfer window.

However, the Portuguese international struggled to make an impact in the Premier League, scoring just once in 12 games and starting only three times.

As a result, he was loaned to Milan on a six-month deal.

Since then, the 25-year-old has made an impressive start to his career in Italy.

He scored on his debut as Milan defeated Roma 3-1 in the Coppa Italia and played 84 minutes in their 2-0 win over Empoli in Serie A on Saturday.

Maresca, Chelsea “don’t miss” Felix

The West London club was recently knocked out of the FA Cup by Brighton on Saturday.

Christopher Nkunku made a rare start as the central striker after injuries sidelined Nicolas Jackson and Marc Guiu.

Despite the injuries, Maresca insisted that Chelsea is not missing Felix, emphasizing that the decision to let him leave was nothing personal.

“I don’t think we miss Joao. He’s happy there [Milan] and we’re happy that he’s happy,” Maresca said.

“Two injuries on the last day of the transfer window. It’s a tough one. Nico [Jackson] could be back soon. Sometimes I think we need to play a few games without certain players to realise their importance.”
