McTominay scored twice for the second successive game as Scotland’s first win against Spain for 39 years. The defensive midfielder struck early in both halves, thanks to fine works of Andrew Robertson and Kieran Tierney, respectively.

This is Scotland’s eighth win in ten home games in all competitions (DL L1) and it ended Luis de la Fuente’s side 19-game unbeaten run in the Euro 2024 Qualifiers.
