Furthermore, Morata was injured after a security guard accidentally hit him after Spain’s 2-1 victory over France.
A fan tried to take a selfie with Morata when the guard directly fell into the striker’s legs.
Moreover, the guard tried to grab the fan and escort him away from Morata when the incident happened.
However, Morata was in a lot of pain after trying to reach for his right leg and started to hop around.
The specifics of Morata’s injury remain unknown, Yahoo Sports reported.
Spanish midfielder Rodri shared that his teammate was in pain in the locker room after the match, The Athletic reported.

Furthermore, Spain manager Luis de la Fuente said the team going for a “wait and see” approach on Morata’s status in the final.
“We have to wait and see tomorrow (Thursday). We believe it’s nothing. It hurts, but we think it’s nothing,” de la Fuente said.
Moreover, Morata still managed to put light on the incident.
“It (the security guard’s challenge) was a yellow card and that’s it,” Morata joked as reported by Spanish outlet Marca.
Morata has played in every match at EURO 2024, though he has yet to complete any of them.
He was replaced with 14 minutes left against France.
However, Morata was expected to undergo a precautionary scan on Wednesday.

Moreover, the injury comes after Morata threatened to quit the Spanish national team on the eve of the semifinal.
The Atletic Madrid striker said the “nonsense” criticism against him has made him consider to move abroad.
Furthermore, the criticism against him has affected Morata’s family, particularly his wife and four children.
He also considered leaving Atletico, saying that “in Spain, there’s no respect for anyone.”
“It could be (my last tournament with Spain). It’s a possibility that I don’t want to talk about too much, but it’s probable,” Morata added.
