Barcelona vs Man United was the most expected game durings Europa League play-offs 1st leg fixtures, and boy, it delivered.
The four-goals thriller at Camp Nou was no less than a Michael Bay’s move with full of actions and stars-packed squads.
Marcus Rashford scored one while involved in the second one for the Red Devils, while Raphinha assisted and put his name on the scoresheet in a fine day for the Brazilian.
No winner emerged as the game ended in 2-2, ahead of the return leg at Old Trafford in a week.
Meanwhile, AS Roma and German side Leverkusen were both defeated by late goals, but still have more than 90 minutes ahead to turn the table.
Juventus could not beat Ligue 1 side Nantes 3-1 on Italian soil despite Vlahovic’s opener, while Donetsk and Sevilla was in their safe zone after victories at home against Rennes and PSV respectively.
Sporting had Sebastian Coates to thank as the Uruguayan defender scored late goal to pull back some hope for his side ahead of the trip to Midtjyland’s next week.
