What happened
Man City cruised past Championship side Sheffield United in the 3-0 win at the first semi-final.
It was a struggling first half as the Blues were held off for the first 41 minutes before a penalty was awarded for a foul on Bernardo Silva.
Riyad Mahrez tucked the spot-kick home and went on to complete a hat-trick at Wembley. The Algerian marked history as he became the first City player to ever registered Wembley hat-trick.
Pep Guaridola, who rested almost half of his key players, was delighted as they ended a run of three successive semi-final defeats.
Pep’s side are the first team since 1966 to reach the men’s final without conceding a single goal.
Meanwhile, Erik Ten Hag’s side were not having an easy game as it had been expected against Brighton.
Red Devils needed Victor Lindelof’s final spot-kick to beat Brighton on the second FA Cup semif-final, after the two failed to score in two halves.
The only player failed to score in the shoot-out was Brighton’s Solly March, who burst into tears after the game ended.
Man United now equal Arsenal for most FA Cup final appearances (21).
