Former Đà Nẵng FC footballer Tran Anh Khoa committed suicide

In a shock update, former Đà Nẵng footballer and youth side’s assistant manager Tran Anh Khoa passed away, rumored to have committed suicide at his private home.

Tran Anh Khoa found dead at home, used to play for Đà Nẵng and current in charge of the youth side

The sad news shocked the local fans as Tran Anh Khoa was only 33 years old.

According to local outlet Tuoi Tre, Anh Khoa took his own life on the house’s stairs, wearing his club’s kit….

Đào Quang Hùng: Đà Nẵng manager and Khoa’s superior revealed that he had a conversation only 24 hours ago with Khoa, in which the two discussed the youth side’s facility.

Anh Khoa played at Vietnam Elite League V-League in 2015 before the later national team captain Quế Ngọc Hải brutally ended his career with a tackle. Anh Khoa retired at 24 and has since chased a managerial career.

After the critical injury, Quế Ngọc Hải gifted nearly 1 billion VND to compensate for Khoa, and the footballer was taken to Singapore for treatment. After almost a year, he returned to training but could not keep up and decided to call his career a day.
