GEORGE, AARON-WOOI YIK ADVANCE TO KOREA MASTERS SEMIS AFTER BIG WINS
George and Aaron-Wooi Yik advanced to the semifinals after posting big wins at the Iksan Gymnasium.
Furthermore, George turned back Japan’s Takuma Obayashi, 21-14, 21-16, in their quarterfinals matchup.

AARON-WOOI YIK CRUISE PAST KOREAN DUO TO REACH SEMIS
Aaron and Wooi Yik cruised past a Korean duo to reach the semifinals with relative ease.
Furthermore, Malaysia’s top seeds scored a 21-17, 21-12 decision over Kim Jae Hyeon and Lee Sang Won.
Moreover, Aaron-Wooi Yik overcame some resistance from the home bets in the opening set before winning.
The Malaysian shuttles had a more impressive showing in the second set to put away Kim and Lee to reach the semifinals.
Aaron and Wooi Yik will face Chinese Taipei’s Chiu Hsiang Chieh and Wang Chi-Lin for a place in the final.
CHIEH-CHI-LIN UPSET CHINESE WORLD NO.43 PAIR
Chieh and Chi-Lin upset Chinese pair Xie Hao Nan and Zeng Wei Han, 21-12, 16-21, 21-19.
Furthermore, the Taiwanese tandem emerged from a tightly fought decider after convincingly split the first two sets.
Meanwhile, Aaron and Wooi Yik seek to topple Chieh and Chi-Lin to secure their first title of the season.
They are also looking to qualify for the World Tour Finals in Hangzhou next month.
Aaron and Wooi Yik are currently No.13 in the race and would need to crack the top seven to advance.
