“We are a bit disappointed

City was less than four minutes away from securing a third straight Premier League victory.

Phil Foden scored twice to give City a two-point lead, but the Bees would make a comeback before the final whistle.

Yoane Wissa pulled one back from six yards before Christian Norgaard’s 92nd-minute header secured a dramatic equalizer, earning them a point in a thrilling finish.

Brentford nearly snatched victory in the 95th minute, but Nathan Ake denied them by heading Bryan Mbeumo’s curling effort off the goal line.

“We are a bit disappointed, but when we were leading 2-0, we failed to maintain our advantage and, unfortunately, we couldn’t finish the game,” Guardiola said.

“Today, we didn’t make the right decisions in the final third. I had a feeling that we weren’t making the right choices to close the game out.”

“It is what it is” according to Guardiola

City would have gone fifth with a victory, but instead remain sixth and 12 points behind leaders Liverpool.

After the final whistle, Guardiola was seen having an animated discussion with his goalkeeper, Stefan Ortega.

While he was frustrated on the team’s inability to secure the lead, Guardiola thinks the draw with Brentford “wasn’t all that bad.”

“Am I satisfied with the result? Well, it is what it is. “

“I don’t know why the team couldn’t hold onto the lead; such things can happen. Sometimes it occurs. We need to manage the situation better, but today it wasn’t all that bad,”
