ICC ORDERS BCCI TO ALLOW ‘PAKISTAN’ PRINT ON INDIA’S CHAMPIONS TROPHY 2025 KITS

The ICC orders the BCCI to allow a “Pakistan” print on Team India’s kits for Champions Trophy 2025.

Furthermore, the International Cricket Council (ICC) reminded the BCCI that Pakistan is the original host of the tournament.

Moreover, the “Pakistan” in Team India’s kits, an ICC official said, should stay.

This, despite Team India will play all its matches in Dubai.

“It is the responsibility of every team to add the tournament logo to their jerseys,” the ICC official told A-Sports as reported by NDTV Sports.

“All teams are obligated to comply within this rule,” the official added.

BCCI NOT KEEN ON KEEPING ‘PAKISTAN’ PRINT DESPITE ICC ORDER

The BCCI is not keeping on keeping the “Pakistan” print on Team India’s kits.

This is despite the ICC order ordering the BCCI to do so.

Moreover, Team India could face strict action if the “Pakistan” print is not found on their team kits.

Furthermore, the Champions Trophy logo usually includes the name of the host country.

This practice also prevailed in previous editions of the tournament.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has denied receiving any information from the BCCI.

This is referring to the latter’s stand on the tournament logo.

The BCCI is also against having a “Pakistan” print on Team India’s shirts, multiple reports said.
