ZII JIA UP AT NO.8 DESPITE LONG INJURY ABSENCE

Zii Jia is up at No.8 in the latest World Badminton Federation (BWF) rankings despite his long injury absence.

Furthermore, the Malaysian shuttler was granted ranking protection from the BWF after his team made a request recently.

Moreover, Zii Jia will not play in some upcoming tournaments.

This is due to the three-month inactivity required for the BWF to provide ranking protection to players.

Meanwhile, Leong Jun Hao remains as Malaysia’s No.2 after Zii at No. 26 based on the latest BWF rankings.
