Malaysia’s coach was ready to move on after his side’s tough exit.
Moreover, national singles coach K. Yogendran said his young shuttlers can use the tournament as a learning experience.
Furthermore, he urged them to prepare early for the Sudirman Cup in Xiamen on April 27-May 4.
“We are disappointed that we didn’t reach the quarter-finals,” Yogendran said.
Jun Hao admitted feeling the pressure of a 0-2 deficit for Malaysia but his efforts weren’t enough.
“The pressure was enormous as I was trailing and we needed to win, but I was just pushing to the maximum,” Jun Hao said.
