INDIANA VS OKC FINALS SERIES HAS PACERS STEAL GAME 1 BEHIND HALIBURTON GAME-WINNER
The Indiana vs OKC finals series has the Pacers stole Game behind a Tyrese Haliburton game-winner to stun the Thunder crowd.
Furthermore, Haliburton drilled the jumper with 0.3 second left on the clock as Indiana erased a 110-109 deficit.
Moreover, the All-Star guard finished with just 14 points on 6-of-13 shooting.
But he also had 10 rebounds and six assists.
“We’ve just had to figure out how to win in so many different ways all year, past two years,” Haliburton said after the game.
“Really proud of this group. We’re a resilient group. We keep believing and we stay over,” he added.
BALANCED SCORING SAW SIX PACERS IN DOUBLE FIGURES
Indiana did it with balanced scoring, with six players in double figures.
Moreover, Pascal Siakam led the way with 19 points and 11 rebounds, while reserve Obi Toppin had 17 points in 25 minutes.
Furthermore, Myles Turner scored 15 points and nine boards.
Andrew Nembhard also had 14 points, while Aaron Nesmith added 10 for the Pacers.
Additionally, reserve T.J. McConnell was on the verge of double figures with nine points for the Pacers.
Indiana now has a 1-0 lead in their best-of-seven series.
“The good thing is, 19 turnovers – they only had nine points (off turnovers),” Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said at halftime as per video of the ESPN broadcast.
“It’s not the end of the world. We’re right there,” he added.

SGA DROPS 35 BUT THUNDER UNDONE WITH 39.8% FIELD GOAL SHOOTING IN GAME 1
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander dropped 35 points but the Thunder were undone with a 39.8% field goal shooting due to the Pacers’ stingy defense.
Furthermore, Jalen Williams finished with 17 points, while Luguentz Dort was the only other starter in double figures with 15 points for the Thunder.
Moreover, Alex Caruso contributed 11 points for OKC.
The Thunder went 11-of-30 (36.7%) from three-point range.
OKC took a 94-79 lead on a Williams dunk with 9:42 left.
But the Thunder could not just put Indiana away.
However, back-to-back treys by Nesmith and Nembhard but a 108-99 deficit to just 108-105.
This would set up Haliburton’s heroics in the endgame
