JAMES, CURRY, DURANT NOT TAKING PARIS OLYMPICS TEAMUP FOR GRANTED

James, Curry, and Durant – make no mistake – are not taking their Paris Olympics team up for Team USA for granted this month.

Furthermore, James – the most senior among the three at 39 – understands the significance of the moment.

“We don’t know how many more opportunities we’re going to have to even play the game,” James told ESPN.

“So to be able to have this moment at this point in our careers is just super special,” he added.

Moreover, getting his third Olympic gold medal to add to his three NBA championship rings is as special as winning with Curry and Durant on the same team.

“I can’t speak for those two guys, but for me, it’s going to be an ecstatic excitement, a humbling wow factor,” James said.

“The last 15, 17, 18 years, myself, Steph, KD, have been the talk of the NBA,” he added.

CURRY FEELS ‘COOL,’ ‘SURREAL’ AS HE MAKES OLYMPIC DEBUT AFTER 15 NBA SEASONS

Furthermore,m Curry feels it would be “cool” and “surreal” to team up with James, Durant, and the rest of the NBA superstars at Team USA as he makes his Olympic debut.

The Golden State Warriors superstar may be no stranger to playing for flag and country, winning in the 2010 and 2014 World Championships.

Moreover, Curry is finally donning the Team USA in the Olympics in Paris for the first time after 15 NBA seasons.

“I’ve played with Team USA before on the world championship stage, but I don’t know what to expect when it comes to this challenge and this experience,” Curry said.

“And the surrealness of who is on this team and all the battles that we’ve had over the course of our careers and the fact that we get to put that energy together as teammates. So I’m enjoying every minute of this,” he added.

Curry recalled that when James called him up in the fall and talked about the possibility of playing together in Paris, the Warriors’ guard never hesitated.

“Would this be something I would want to do? And from there it was like ‘Let’s get it,'” Curry said.

KD REFUSES TO TREAT JAMES, CURRY COLLABORATION WITH TEAM USA AS LAST HURRAH

Moreover, Durant refused to treat his collaboration with James and Curry with Team USA as a last hurray for the Olympics.

Nah. These guys are still playing at an elite level,” Durant said.

“I feel like ‘Bron could play four or five more and be here in 2028 in (the Los Angeles Olympics). Steph’s still playing great ball. I’m doing all right, too,” he added.

Furthermore, Durant is looking to claim a record fourth Olympic gold medal should Team USA emerge victorious in Paris.

Winning after a fortnight in the French capital, more than anything else, is what Durant wants to be focused on.

“I don’t want this to be a farewell tour or make it just about us three,” KD insisted.

“It’s about trying to win this fifth in a row,” he added.
