JAMES HELD TO 10 POINTS FOR ONLY 17TH TIME IN CAREER AFTER LAKERS’ LOSS
James held to 10 points was only the 17th time in his career after the Lakers lost to the Wolves, 109-80.
Furthermore, the 22-year veteran has scored 10 points or lower in 17 times in a career that spawned four championships.
Moreover, James reached double figures in 1,243 consecutive games, which remains as the league record.
He only got to convert his 10th points on two free throws with 8:51 remaining.
James’ previous season low was 11 points against the Phoenix Suns on October 28.
LEBRON SEEN FLEXING RIGHT HAND, MIGHT BE HIDING INJURY
Moreover, James was seen flexing his right hand late on Monday, raising concerns that he may be hiding an injury.
Furthermore, it was his second-straight game with a low production.
LeBron only scored 12 in LA’s 101-93 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday.
Anthony Davis has led the Lakers in scoring 11 times so far this season, compared to James’ four.
D’Angelo Russell led LA on Monday with 20 points on 4-of-5 treys along with five assists.
LAKERS COULDN’T TAKE ADVANTAGE OF LOW SCORING GAME FROM ‘ANT’
Furthermore, the Lakers couldn’t take advantage of a low-scoring game from Anthony “Ant” Edwards as the Wolves pulled away.
Moreover, Minnesota turned to big men Julius Randle, who had 18 points on 6-of-13 shooting, and Rudy Gobert with 17 points and 12 rebounds.
The Wolves’ reserves also delivered, with Naz Reid and Nickeil Alexander-Walker chipping in 15 points each.

The Lakers struggled with the Wolves’ defense, which limited LA to a poor 19% shooting on threes.
