The English midfielder was just named Bundesliga Player of the season at the age of 19.

He was left out the Dortmund’s team during the final day clash and was heartbroken to see the club slipped off the title by a draw with Mainz.

Dortmund came so close to ending Bayern’s decade-long stranglehold on the Bundesliga, Bellingham was hurting as much as anyone in the Signal Iduna to see their rivals clinched the title.

Green light from Borussia Dortmund and the 100-million-euro deal

The 19-year-old appears to have been give the green light to leave his club this summer, with two clubs having discussed for days.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the deal has been agreed at final stages for 100m euro plus add-ons while personal terms were done in April.

The contract between Madrid and Bellingham will be until 2029, with payment plan will be ideally in three of four installments over several years.

Talks with the club’s CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke and other big figures were also done and Bellingham made it clear that he needs new challenges.
