Giroud became a victim of home burglary in Los Angeles
ESPN first reported the development.
The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed on Tuesday that officers responded on February 5 to a report of a window smash at a home in West L.A.
Burglars reportedly broke in, stealing jewelry, including 10 luxury watches, and other valuables.
Giroud’s wife, Jennifer, reported the incident to police when she returned home and noticed the window and items missing.
The LAFC forward and his family were not at home when burglars broke in.

Giroud is the latest high-profile athlete to fall victim to a similar burglary in recent months.
NFL stars Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Joe Burrow were victims of burglaries, as well as NBA star Luka Doncic and NHL players Tyler Seguin and Evgeni Malkin.
Getting ready for MLS season
Elsewhere, Giroud is getting ready to start his second season with LAFC this week.
The France international started for LAFC in their 2-1 loss against the Colorado Rapids in the first leg of Round 1 of the Concacaf Champions Cup.
Giroud has not scored in 14 games for LAFC since his move from AC Milan to MLS last summer.

He is known for his stint at Arsenal from 2012 to 2018, followed by three years each at Chelsea and Milan.
The 38-year-old has scored 285 goals in 716 matches during his club career, winning numerous trophies, including a Champions League title with Chelsea three years ago.
Giroud also helped lead France to a World Cup title in 2018.
