Lamine Yamal to Become Adidas Signature Player just like Messi
Winning a rising star is a survival strategy that giant brands like Nike, Adidas, or Nike must prioritize. The war between brands has been in balance over the years, with Cristiano Ronaldo as Nike’s representative and Messi as Adidas’ ambassador.
Early this year, the Germany-based giant beat its rival Nike to a long-term partnership with Yamal in February. The Spanish winger’s outstanding performance during his club’s spell and later at Euro 2024 is the brand’s best marketing power move.
Alongside Messi and newly joined Jude Bellingham, Yamal is a precious asset to Adidas.
Becoming an Adidas Signature Player will give Lamine Yamal more advantages in developing his brand. According to Footy Headlines, Yamal will soon have his own signature logo, signature boots, and accompanying collections.
If he maintains his current excellent form, Yamal is well placed to become the top ambassador for Adidas’ speed boot silo (currently the F50), replacing Leo Messi when he retires.
