LEAGUE OF LEGENDS READY FOR FIRST STAND 2026 EVENT IN BRAZIL
League of Legends (LoL) is ready to stage its First Stand 2026 event in Brazil.
Furthermore, it will be the first international LoL event to be held in the South American country in eight years.
Morever. a Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) tournament was staged in Sao Pulo and Rio de Janeiro in 2017.

Additionally, Brazilian footballer Ronaldo made a medal delivery at the time to Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok.

Furthermore, this will mark a return of an international LoL event in the region for the first time just before the pandemic.
Additionally, an MSI 2019 event was hosted by Vietnam and Chinese Taipei and was staged in Ho Chi Minh, Hanoi and Taipei.
Organizers have yet to announce which country or countries in Southeast Asia will host the 2027 event.
At the 2019 event, G2 Esports defeated Team Liquid, 3-0, to become the first team to win the MSI title.

SOUTH KOREA BRACES FOR 2025 LOL FIRST STAND
Furthermore, South Korea is bracing for the 2025 LOL First Stand, the league’s first international tournament this year.
Moreover., Vancouver will host an MSI also this year followed by the LoL World Championship (Worlds) in China.
That event will be held with the Swiss Stage in Beijing, playoffs in Shanghai, and the finals in Chengdu.
Meanwhile, the MSI for 2026 will alsk take place in South Korea, with the Worlds set in North America.
In 2027, the MSi will occur in Europe, while the Worlds will return to South Korea, which hosted the 2023 edition.
