According to French journalist Laurens Julien, Messi has an injury from the defeat by Marseille in Coupe de France, which saw PSG eliminated from the local cup competition.
Unfortunately for the Argentine legend, he was not lucky on his second occasion as Marseille stunned Leo and his PSG teammates.
The report has it that Messi suffers a hamstring strain, and the capital club may not want to risk losing the World Cup champions for the rest of the 2022-23 season.
