Unmarked Militao capitalized on terrible defending to head in the influential Luka Modric’s free-kick. The Croatian was also among the men that inspired the comeback.
Forgettable milestone for the Reds
Liverpool thought they could beat their rival for the firs time since 2008/09, but it was a nightmare for the home crowds at Anfield.
Klopp’s side had never conceded four goals at home in Europe, let alone five, and are in great danger of missing out on Champions League football next season given they are eighth in the Premier League.
