The Irish MMA superstar was caught on video spitting at a fan who showed support for Khabib and even mocked this guy after his lousy act.
McGregor filmed spitting at guy’s face
In a clip circulating on social media, McGregor was casually walking through a shopping mall when a man spotted him and shouted, “Let’s go, Khabib!”
McGregor instantly turned around, confronted the man, and—without hesitation—spat in his face from close range. The 36-year-old fighter then walked away but not before turning back and taunting the man: “I just spat in your face. What are you gonna do? Nothing.”
This incident comes just a week after McGregor reignited their long-standing feud by posting racially charged insults toward Khabib online. He later deleted the posts and claimed he was “done” with Khabib.
McGregor vs. Khabib: The UFC’s Biggest Rivalry
McGregor and Khabib’s bad blood goes way back. Their infamous fight at UFC 229 in October 2018 saw Khabib dominate before forcing McGregor to tap out with a fourth-round neck crank.
But the real chaos happened outside the cage. McGregor had previously attacked Khabib’s bus, which led to legal trouble in New York. Then, after their UFC 229 fight, an all-out brawl broke out between their teams, resulting in suspensions from the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
Khabib didn’t hold back his satisfaction when McGregor lost to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021. McGregor, never one to stay silent, fired back by mocking Khabib’s late father, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, who passed away due to COVID-19 complications in 2020.
Khabib eventually retired in late 2020, citing his father’s passing as the main reason for walking away. He left the sport undefeated with a 29-0 record, including three UFC title defenses against McGregor, Poirier, and Justin Gaethje.
McGregor, meanwhile, is still making headlines—but mainly for the wrong reasons.
