MILITAO LEAVES BRAZIL CAMP, TO SKIP MATCHES AGAINST ECUADOR, PARAGUAY
Furthermore, Militao leaves Brazil’s camp, forcing him to miss the Samba Boys’ matches against Ecuador on Saturday and Paraguay on September 11.
Moreover, on Wednesday, the 26-year-old Real Madrid center-back complained about the injury during training at the Athletico Paranaense Training Center.
The Brazilian Football Federation (CBF) confirmed Militao’s injury after medical exams were completed on Thursday.
“The CBF medical department carried out a clinical examination and magnetic resonance imaging on the athlete (Militao),” the CBF said.
“The athlete was disqualified from two Brazilian national team matches in the qualifiers,” it added.
On the other hand, the federation “stands in solidarity with the athlete at this time and wishes him a speedy recovery.”
BRAZILIAN CENTER BACK THE LATEST REAL MADRID PLAYER WITH INJURY WOES
Moreover, the Brazilian center-back became the latest Real Madrid player to experience injury woes early in the new season.
Furthermore, midfielders Eduardo Canavinga, Dani Ceballos, and Jude Bellingham have sustained injuries in the last few weeks.
Midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni and left-back Ferland Mendy also sustained injuries in Madrid’s 2-0 victory over Real Betis on Sunday.
This forced them to leave France’s training camp for their Nations League matchups against Italy and Belgium.

MADRID TO PURSUE MORE TESTS FOR MILITAO UPON RETURN TO CLUB
Furthermore, Madrid will conduct more for Militao once the Brazilian returns to the club on Saturday.
Moreover, multiple reports said he would be unavailable for 10 to 15 days.
Militao kept three clean sheets and picked up an assist in Madrid’s 3-0 win over Real Valladolid on August 25.
The center-back has started in all five of Madrid’s five matches this season before the injury.
Militao missed most of the 2023-24 season after he tore an ACL in his left knee during Madrid’s opening game last season.
